AEM created the first stand-alone programmable engine management system that uses a factory wiring harness, and was the first to introduce a gauge with a built-in wideband UEGO controller and gauge readout in one unit! More recent innovations include our Water/Methanol Injection Systems, which provide the ultimate combination of performance, quality and value for gas and diesel race vehicles, a complete line of digital and analog display gauges, and the X-WiFi module, which allows users to view critical exhaust data wirelessly on virtually any WiFi enabled device. In addition, the recent release of AEM’s Series 2 EMS with AEMTuner interface software represents a major evolution in features and ease of use from the original.

At AEM, we live and breathe motorsports. In fact, it’s this involvement in both professional and amateur racing that gives us the inspiration for the products that we design and produce. Many of our key staff in engineering, sales, marketing and tech support participate in some form of racing. We compete in Off-Road Racing, Road Racing, Bonneville, Drag, Drift, Bikes…if it has wheels we are either competing in the sport or have a very deep involvement in it. From this involvement we gain information to create and improve our products. Additionally, our employee/racers appreciate the dollar value of a product that works and have integrated the goal of producing the best dollar value product in the market into our mission statement. We are inspired by helping race teams go faster, win championships and set records.
